Experience the Greatest Story Ever Told on the Big Screen. Richey Suncoast Theatre invites you to a special two-day cinematic event featuring the 1979 classic film, Jesus. Known for its historical accuracy and moving portrayal of the life of Christ, this landmark motion picture remains the most-translated film in history. 


Spring Fling

Presented by New Port Richey Parks & Recreation, Spring Fling is a family-friendly evening filled with seasonal fun, including an egg hunt, bounce houses, crafts, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and more. Free to attend.


State of the City

April 8 | 5:00 PM–8:00 PM |  Sasha’s on the Park

Hosted by New Port Richey Main Street, Inc., this event offers a look back at the year’s accomplishments and a preview of what’s ahead for the city. City Manager Debbie Manns will present. Registration is required.


Peter and the Star Catcher

April 10-12 & 17-19 | See Website for Show Times |   Richey Suncoast Theatre

Embark on a magical journey and discover the origin story of the boy who never grew up. Peter and the Starcatcher sets sail at Richey Suncoast Theatre this April, bringing adventure, imagination, and heart to downtown New Port Richey. Enjoy performances by local volunteer actors, set designers, and production crews in true community theater style.


Florida Loquat Festival

April 11 | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM | Sims Park

Presented by New Port Richey FarmNet, this unique festival celebrates local loquat fruit trees and the community’s agricultural roots. Free to attend.


Grand Re-Opening of Railroad Square & Cavalaire Square

April 11 | 6:30 PM | Railroad Square (Nebraska Ave between Grand & Adams)

Downtown New Port Richey is celebrating the grand re-opening of Railroad Square and Cavalaire Square with an evening of community excitement, beginning with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 6:30 PM followed by a live performance by Phoenix5 at 7 PM. Special guest DJ Prince will keep the energy going as residents and visitors gather to enjoy these newly revitalized downtown spaces. This is a great chance to experience one of the latest enhancements to the heart of Downtown NPR and enjoy a night of live music in New Port Richey.


April 12 | 11:00 AM–4:00 PM | Railroad Square (Nebraska Ave between Grand & Adams)

The celebration continues Sunday with Family Square-A-Bration, a full afternoon of family-friendly fun in Downtown New Port Richey. Enjoy The Magic of Cesar Domico, a lively dance party, photo opportunities, special guests, and plenty of surprises throughout the day. It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday downtown and another example of the community events that make life in Downtown New Port Richey so vibrant.


Movie in the Park

April 17 | 8:00 PM | Sims Park

Bring your blankets and chairs and settle in under the stars for Zootopia 2. Presented by New Port Richey Parks & Recreation. Free to attend.


Concert in the Park

April 18 | 7:00 PM | Sims Park

The Caribbean Chillers, Florida’s favorite Jimmy Buffett tribute band, return to the Sims Park stage for a fun waterfront evening. Expect music, themed activities, and plenty of local energy. Free to attend.


Riverside Concert

April 24 | 6:00 PM | Grassin Bridge in Sims Park
