What's Happening Around Downtown New Port Richey this August
Life's better when your neighborhood is the destination.
Downtown New Port Richey doesn't slow down in August.

Between a week-long restaurant celebration, a lineup of tribute concerts at Richey Suncoast Theatre, and the return of Sunshine Sessions in Cavalaire Square, there's a reason to head outside almost every weekend this month. For residents at The Central on Orange Lake, that means dinner plans, live music, and a Friday night out are all just minutes from home.
Here's what's on the calendar for August, plus what's new around downtown.
What's New Around Downtown
New Port Richey Main Street has been named a
2026 Accredited Main Street America program, the highest national recognition the organization can receive. It's a nice reminder that the revitalization happening right outside our door is getting noticed well beyond New Port Richey.
This month's Central Perks spotlight goes to Sip on Grand, one of the newer additions to the downtown coffee and beverage scene and a great excuse for a short walk before or after a Sunshine Sessions morning.
